Since getting engaged, wedding planning has thrown a huge tornado in my life. Of course, I am excited to marry my soul mate, but with day-to-day already crazy between two jobs, making my business Enchanted Living Spaces a priority, taking care of my house, animals, and cooking… wedding planning seriously shed some light on how I am living my life.

After getting engaged in July 2019, I have gained 15 pounds while working out over an hour every day AND have continued eating clean, acne has magically appeared on my face like clockwork every time I ovulate or get my period. My anxiety and stress has been through the roof, I have never been aware of or felt my heart SO MUCH in my life… to say I am a hormonal, unorganized, hot mess of a gal is an understatement!

I have decided I need to get myself out of this hole (I’m sure you have been here before too) and I am sharing what I am successfully doing to help heal myself at this point. Getting engaged and undergoing this stressful period in my life has allowed me to WAKE UP. Yes, I hear you universe…”START TAKING CARE OF YOURSELF!”

Start slowing down, start meditating, start connecting with your guides, start manifesting the life you want, start loving and caring for your emotional, spiritual and physical body! Start helping the lovely women who follow you, they struggle just as you do!

Stress & Anxiety

I have SERIOUSLY been through the flippin’ roof of these ones.

Finances, planning, family and friend non-stop drama, messy house and constant cleaning…

Let’s just say SHAME ON ME because if you are following me, you know that we are responsible for our own lives, right? I stopped doing my kundalini meditations, I stopped taking my flower essences, I stopped helping others and ignored my business, I stopped doing a lot and the universe came back around to help me get back on track.

I let myself get to this point, and if you’re here too, heres some things that can help you.

Flower essences:

  1. Bottle Gentian - this helps us find clarity, and gives us inner-strength and perseverance despite any setbacks

  2. Fringed Pink - this helps us to see a way out of the darkness and show us paths of new possibilities to solve our issues and find the light once again

  3. Jewelweed - this essence helps us invoke a deep inner stillness and allows our heart to find peace

  4. Rhododendron - most importantly this essence helps us find BALANCE and boundaries in our lives!

  5. Sweet Williams - this essence helps us discover or re-discover our life purpose and gives us the clarity we need to take action

  6. Tansy - finally tansy helps us remove blocks that are creating procrastination and lethargy

Kundalini:

Kundalini meditation has helped me tremendously to rid out old blocks and create new beautiful energy in my life. Here are two of my favorites for financial stress and generalized stress blocking.

  1. Richness Will Come Meditation (40-120 day practice video below)

    • This mantra is to fix our mental relationship to prosperity and power. It will produce money; prosperity will come. Opportunities will come. Richness will come. It contains the eight facets of God that we all have to deal with.

      Har is the shakti yog power mantra. Har is the original God. The repetitions of Har give power to all these facets, and provide the power to break down the past and barriers to our success.

    • POSTURE: Sit in Easy Pose.

    • MUDRA: The hands are grasped tightly in front of the Heart Center in Bear Grip (the ngers of each hand are interlocked, left hand faces forward, right hand faces the chest). The forearms are parallel to the ground.

    • EYE FOCUS: Eyes are 1/10th open and focused the tip of the nose.

    • TIME: 11 to 31 minutes

    • Mantra: The four HARS are combined with the Guru Gaitri Mantra. GOBINDAY—Sustaining; MUKANDAY—Liberating; UDAARAY—Enlightening; APAARAY—Infinite; HAREEANG— Destroying; KAREEANG—Creating; NIRNAAMAY—Nameless; AKAAMAY—Desireless

      • Har Har Har Har Gobinday

      • Har Har Har Har Mukanday 

      • Har Har Har Har Udaaray 

      • Har Har Har Har Apaaray 

      • Har Har Har Har Hareeang 

      • Har Har Har Har Kareeang 

      • Har Har Har Har Nirnamay 

      • Har Har Har Har Akaamay

3. Removal of small inconveniences that wreak havoc:

  • Clutter

    • I was SO stressed out by my office and closet that I just needed to purge.

    • Start with clothing, books, and organizing your kitchen pantry for a new start.

  • Caffeine

    • I have slowly started to quit caffeine and replace my intake with chicory root “coffee”. Some people who have allergies to certain flowers should avoid it, but overall it is a really great replacement. Dr. Axe provides a great overview here.

    • DOWNING MY CAFFEINE INTAKE HAS SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCED MY ANXIETY BY AT LEAST 1/2!

  • Being unorganized in my life and goals

    • Clarity has been a huge issue for me lately. I’ve just been in BRIDE MODE and it seemed like everything else kind of fell apart. If this is you, what worked for me was taking a good week to figure out my goals and getting clear on who and where I want to be. Give yourself some journaling time this week just to rift and pull out some key themes to get started. REMEMBER, nothing happens instantaneously so even if you are dedicating just one day a week to start whatever it is (working on business, reading more books, working out etc.) it is a start!

    • Learning about my cycle as a women has been key in my life to creating balance, Kate teaches our menstrual cycle phases and so much more in this book to help us thrive and achieve when we are genetically primed for it!

These are just a few easy ways to start but I encourage you to either tackle some serious decluttering to free up some space or start with a 40 day kundalini meditation practice.
